Knoxville’s oldest theater, built in 1909, is an acoustic marvel—singer/songwriters, jazz combos, and rock bands all sound good there. The Bijou hosts national acts every week, with upcoming performances by artists as diverse as classic-rock guitar hero Robin Trower, Swiss jazz pianist Nik Bartsch, retro soul queen Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, and ’90s alt-rockers Toad the Wet Sprocket.
